Free eligibility check for Danish work immigration

note

This page is generated from Dimmi product documentation used by in-product help. UI labels match the client console; some screens appear only when the matching module is enabled for your organisation.

Open Immigration → Eligibility check in the sidebar (also available from Immigration → Overview). It is free and does not create a case.

What you provide

  1. Destination country where the person would work (defaults to your organisation’s headquarters country).
  2. An employment contract (PDF, Word, or image).
  3. Employee nationality / citizenship (optional — helps detect EU/EEA/Swiss free movement).

Dimmi already knows your organisation’s employer profile (including whether you are on the fast-track certified list). Outlook currently uses Danish work-immigration rules (schemes and DISCO pay statistics), even if you select another destination country.

What you get

A short outlook that typically covers:

  • Whether a Danish work permit (or short-term work authorisation) is likely needed — or whether EU/EEA/Swiss free movement usually applies.
  • How pay compares to the typical DISCO band for the role.
  • A likely pathway name when Dimmi can suggest one, with typical government application fee and expected processing time.
  • Practical tips to lower risk or speed up the case (for example adjusting pay toward a faster track).
  • A plain-language summary and what to do next.

The same page lists previous checks so you can reopen an earlier outlook.

This is an estimate to help you plan, not an official decision from the authorities.

What to do next

If a work application looks appropriate, choose Start an international relocation. That opens the International relocation flow (person, contract, and authorisations). You can run another eligibility check anytime from Immigration → Eligibility check.
