Platform overview

Dimmi is your organisation’s place to run immigration, social security, and relocation work. After you sign in to the client portal, you work in the same layout every day: a left sidebar for navigation, and the main area for the page you opened.

This documentation mirrors the labels you see in the portal — so when we say Start a case or Jobs & people, that is the menu item to click.

What you see after sign-in

You usually land on an organisation-wide Overview. Think of it as an inbox for everything Dimmi is tracking for your company, split into three segments:

SegmentMeaning for HR
Dimmi is handlingOpen work Dimmi is progressing — you do not need to act
Needs attentionSomething needs your input, or a permit / certificate is expiring or expired
CompletedIssued permits and certificates that do not need attention

Each segment can list immigration, social security, and relocation items. Module overviews under Immigration and Social Security use the same three segments for that area alone.

AreaUse it when you want to…

Workforce (Jobs & people)Find people, see compliance signals, open profiles
ImmigrationFollow work/residence permits and international employees
Social SecurityFollow A1/S1, business trips, work abroad, monitoring (when enabled)

Some items only appear when your organisation has that module or plan feature enabled. If a page says a module is off, ask your Dimmi contact or an admin.

How work usually flows

  1. Someone on HR starts an application (Start a case or from Immigration / Social Security).
  2. Dimmi (and your case handlers) progress the case; you see status on Overview and in Ongoing cases.
  3. When something needs an HR decision or document, it shows under Needs attention.
  4. When a permit or certificate is issued, it moves toward Completed and appears on the person’s profile and Workforce.
